Position Summary

Responsible for working with our global businesses and Global Head of Risk to identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for our key global risks. The role will focus on development of reporting and management frameworks that align with global and local business objectives. Stakeholder education, challenge and development of a risk culture will also be key responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support risk management activities, e.g., risk appetite, risk identification, monitoring, and reporting processes
  • Help to assess the efficacy of risk responses and control environments
  • Document the risk management process and help to prepare quarterly risk reporting with proposals for the metrics, risk appetite, and tolerances to be monitored
  • Support the Head of Risk in maintaining a consistent risk taxonomy across the various operations and functions
  • Collate data and appropriately compile risk analysis for different audiences, e.g., Directors, business heads, and function leads
  • Work with the Head of Risk, function leads, and local business teams to collate risk data across the global operations
  • Liaise with compliance and internal audit teams to co-ordinate third line processes

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in enterprise risk or operational risk working with a global organization with multiple entities
  • Experience within risk management function and a strong technical knowledge of risk and control frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of enterprise risk management methods and principles
  • Financial modelling capability
  • Effective communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Resilient personality with an ability to work in an environment of change
