Head of Digital Innovation and Skills

Salary Range £48,056 - £52,512

Permanent Position, 37 hours per week X 52 weeks

 

The role of Head of Digital Innovation and Skills is new, and will play a huge part in supporting our ambitions for growth and ensuring high quality in our digital education and skills provision.

The role of Head of Digital Innovation and Skills is ideal if you:

  • Have a passion for leadership
  • Have the attributes to inspire and influence staff and students to enact your vision
  • Are passionate about the role education can have on our students
  • Want the responsibility of leading on the college’s approach to holistic digital innovation and skills in a cross-college capacity

 

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and embedding a whole college approach to essential digital skills
  • Leading on developing a curriculum offer for Digital Skills that spans Entry to Level 5
  • Developing approaches to working with employers to improve Digital Skills in the workplace
  • Leading on the college’s engagement with local, regional and national initiatives relating to Digital Skills (e.g. LSIP)

 

After your first year with us, success would look like:

  • A coherent approach to Digital Skills will be embedded across the entire college curriculum
  • Local and regional initiatives will have been engendered to ensure key priorities are met
  •  The college will be recognised for excellence in digital innovation and skills
