The Vacancy
We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy office based in Dudley, the ideal candidate will be processing a wide range of data from various areas of the business, reporting into multiple departments you will be trained in every aspect of the company, no two days will be the same and we will offer a rewarding and challenging environment as well as a host of benefits working for one of the largest scaffolding companies in the UK.
This will be a very varied role incorporating commercial, administration and finance departments. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll be responsible for:
Inputting timesheet information on to Focalpoint system
Updating Focalpoint with holidays and leave
Matching Payment Notices to Applications for payment and raising invoices to match the PN.
Analysing wage to revenue figures to ensure that our costs are not outweighing our profit
General administration duties and assisting the Office Manager
We will expect the successful candidate to have a good understanding of the business as a whole. We will develop a training and development program to support you every step of the way.
You must have:
Good analytical skills, can work within a supported and collaborative team or as an individual when needed, must have a good attention for detail and be able to self-organise your workflow once competent: A good level of self-motivation. Proficient in most Microsoft packages but training can be provided for the right candidate.

GCSE Level 4 or above English and Maths

How long will we retain your personal information?
If your application is not successful, your personal data will be retained:
I. If you apply directly to RSK through an advertisement or in response to an open vacancy listing, for a period not exceeding 2 years from your application date: or
II. If your application is referred from an Agency engaged to work on a vacancy for RSK, for a period of 6 months from your application date.
Unless you request that your data be retained following the appropriate peri od, you will be sent an automated email asking if you wish your details to be retained. If you do not respond to the email to confirm you wish to remain active, your candidate account will automatically be deactivated. You can also deactivate your account at any time. At the point of your account being deactivated, your data will be fully anonymised. This is so RSK can retain data for statistical purposes. All personal information will be removed.
We retain your personal information for that period for legal reasons and in order to show that we have conducted the recruitment exercise in a fair and transparent way.
If you are successfulin your application, your recruitment information will be transferred to your personnel file and you will receive our Privacy Notice for Employees, Workers and Contractors which explains how long your personal information will be kept for and the processing activities which will be undertaken in relation to your employment.
Your rights in connection with personal information

You will not normally need to pay a fee to exercise any of these rights. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
