Since 1943, the Field Studies Council has been at the forefront of environmental education, inspiring learners of all ages through immersive outdoor experiences. As part of our remote, national highly motivated team, you’ll play a key role in delivering over 200 high-quality biodiversity training courses annually. What you’ll be doing
As our Biodiversity Course Administrator, you’ll be the friendly and efficient first point of contact for customer enquiries, handling bookings, invoicing, and supporting our network of expert tutors. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing customer queries via phone and email
Processing course bookings, invoices, and assisting corporate course sales.
Ensuring accuracy of all administration entered into our dedicated booking system.
Assisting in promoting our programmes to potential customers and stakeholders.
Helping onboard new tutors and ensuring smooth communication.
Maintaining accurate records and assisting with reports.

Where you’ll be based
The location for this position is flexible with remote working / home working welcomed. Occasional travel within the UK to meet with your team will be required, but this will be agreed in advance with appropriate notice.

A meticulous approach to administrative tasks and data management.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and office software.
A friendly and professional manner when handling customer communications.

A passion for biodiversity and the environmental education sector.
A commitment to personal development and learning new skills.
