Permanent

Full Time (37 hours per week)

It’s an exciting time here at bpha. Due to business growth and our ambitious plans we are expanding our People team across a number of roles and in this instance we are looking for a colleague to join us as HR Advisor within our operational HR team. This is a Hybrid role and we usually come into the office once or twice a week to keep in touch with everyone. This helps us stay aligned to the needs of the business, the team and each other’s needs, so together we can agree what is required to achieve the best outcomes.

You will be working as part of a friendly team using your skills, experience, knowledge and behaviours to support colleagues and managers with people related situations using a positive pragmatic approach. There will be opportunities to roll up your sleeves and get involved with a wider range of HR activities and initiatives to help make these a success.

The ideal candidate:

Our new HR Advisor will have good experience of ER case management, with the ability to prioritise effectively according to urgency or sensitivity of enquiries. A positive, solutions focused mind set will be important when dealing with ongoing cases to keep across the work, and relevant stakeholders informed.

Effective communication (both written and verbally) is very important to us and joining a team with a high performing culture, a knowledge sharing ethos and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service, as our customers always come first.

Stakeholders may have differing levels of capability so it’s important you are able to recognise and adjust your guidance to accommodate these differences. You will be able to use your own initiative and work autonomously while knowing that you have the support of your HR team to help you too.

You’ll be knowledgeable on generalist HR topics, including related administration tasks, end to end HR processes and will be CIPD Level 3 Qualified.

If this sounds like you, then it would be great to hear from you. Sometimes candidates don’t apply if they feel they do not meet 100% of the criteria specified, or the working pattern isn’t quite right. Please do take the chance to apply – we will still review your application, but if you are not right for this role you might be just the person for another role with us in the future.

In return we will offer you:

Flexibility to work between your home and our office in Bedford.

A competitive salary and a fantastic range of benefits including:

  • 28 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays

  • A generous contributory pension scheme

  • Private health care

  • Free life assurance

  • Access to an extensive suite of wellbeing services and tools including a digital gym

  • Opportunities for learning and development

  • Discounted gym membership

  • Retail discount scheme

  • Hybrid Working

Please note the successful candidate will need to complete a basic DBS application.

Closing date: 7th April 2025

We reserve the right to close this recruitment if it is deemed that we have received a suitable number of applications. On this basis we would advise that applications are submitted as soon as possible. Interviews may take place throughout the recruitment campaign
