The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is the leading professional association and trade union for all school and college leaders. ASCL is seeking to appoint a Regional Officer to undertake casework supporting ASCL Cymru members. The post will cover Wales, supporting the recently appointed National Officer. 

The post requires up-to-date knowledge and experience of the issues facing the senior leadership teams of schools and colleges and the ability to deal with individuals at a senior level. The post will suit applicants with recent experience as leaders of educational institutions or administrators with good experience of school or college management and a strong interest in professional issues. 

Wales will be the main location of work. This is a part-time role paid on a five-point incremental range from £61,968 - £68,259 per annum, starting at £61,968 which is £37,181 per annum at 0.6FTE, pro rata. Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered. The post-holder will work from home with regular contact with and visits to ASCL HQ in Leicester plus regular training sessions. IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
