As a Joiner (Multi Skilled) you’ll be the friendly face of One Manchester for the people in our communities.
You’ll carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled Joiner, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services on all One Manchester`s owned and managed properties and for external clients.
We’re looking for someone to carry out work with an ethos of ‘Right First Time’ always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality workmanship and high standards of performance.
You’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, so you’ll need to have a great level of customer service and a positive and proactive approach to your work. You’ll need to be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
What we’re looking for:

To have served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard.

To currently hold or be willing to work towards a fire safety qualification for example BMTrada or Firas accreditation

Evidence of key competencies specifically in Joinery (core trade) and supporting skills relating to plumbing, plastering, and aqua panelling.

Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM.

Experience of working within a customer facing environment offering excellent customer service.

The ability to work carefully, methodically and safely with good planning and organisational skills.

Hold a Full UK driving licence (manual).
