Our unique service of The Lodge is recruiting for a Cleaner to join the team on a permanent basis. Guests at 40-bed The Lodge have more independence over their lives than in a traditional hostel, but also the support and engagement of staff who are onsite 24/7. We recognise that the Lodge is our guest’s home and they also may also choose to socialise in the communal areas and participate in activities that are sometimes run by staff at the Lodge. These could include cinema nights, trips to local sights or our fantastic Sunday lunches

This role involves making sure the service satisfies health and safety standards that are expected in regards to cleanliness. You will be part of a team that is achieving positive outcomes to support the vulnerable adults in their recovery and move on. You will play a vital role in providing high standard cleaning in the building.   

In this role you will: 

  • Provide cleaning to all areas of the building including some bedrooms and communal areas. 

  • Complete regular inventories of materials and inform management of when items are running low so that they can be ordered.  Pass repairs in to the Housing management part of the team.  

  • Work to a cleaning schedule to ensure all parts of the building are cleaned on a regular basis.  

Days for this role are Tuesday to Saturday (although we are flexible if someone would like another day off in the week - Must be prepared to work on Saturday).
