The role

Come and join a dynamic team as a Rent & Service Charge Accountant at a Liverpool based Housing Association. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who's ready to take on the challenge of supporting our team to deliver an excellent rent and service charge delivery to the business and our customers.

In this role:

  • You'll collaborate with the Service Charge team to meticulously prepare service charge budgets and accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and service level agreements.
  • Complete month end processes within timescale set by the business.
  • You’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive reporting and analysis, while championing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong communication with our contract managers, wider finance and regional teams.

Your responsibilities will also include playing a key role for costs in your area through annual budget planning, managing reconciliations, and taking charge of any complex service charge queries that may arise.

  • Your expertise in this area and strong communication skills will be instrumental in fostering a customer-centric environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a knack for presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Excel will be crucial for success in this position.
