An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll & HR Manager to join our business to cover Maternity Leave (minimum 12 months). Working closely with the Head of HR, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete Payroll and Benefits structure within Mitsubishi Power Europe. In addition, the Payroll & HR Manager will lead a small team and provide HR support to line managers and colleagues across the region, supporting with Employee Relation topics, policy updates and HR Projects.

 

What you’ll be doing;

 

  • Managing Payroll throughout EMEA in 13 locations (UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Poland, Nigeria and Germany), alongside HR & Payroll Officer.
  • Support organisational change initiatives
  • Delivery of employee engagement, integration and harmonisation programmes.
  • Provide advice relating to day to day HR activities to general staff as well as direct HR reports including process, communications, reporting consultation discussions and ensuring legal compliance 
  • Interpret current/new Tax and Employment Law legislation impacting Payroll and HR
  • Support with development and queries relating to ADP and other HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Accountable for payroll sign off alongside CFO, whilst liaising with the Finance team ensuring BACS is processed.
  • Support Head of HR for EMEA with Pay Review and Bonus process
  • Updating Headcount, Turnover and Organisation Charts on a monthly basis
  • Build and develop collaborative relationships with managers across the region, in order to support the HR agenda, activity and provide HR partnerships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Partner with management teams to provide consultation and support to managers on a broad range of human resources practices and programs and good people management practices.
  • Support line managers with the management of complex ER cases, through advice and coaching, minimising any business risk and ensuring the Head of HR is kept informed of ER activities.
  • Update HR Policies and manager guides as required.
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of HR and wider HR team to, support, develop and implement appropriate initiatives and projects.
  • Provide KPI reporting and accurate HR management information to monitor trends, drive better insights and decision-making across the business.
  • Attendance at management meetings where required providing input to business activities with feedback to the appropriate manager.

 

What we’re looking for;

 

  • Education: CIPD Level 5 or above
  • Proven experience in a Payroll position, ideally covering EMEA with a strong administration background
  • Experience of ADP HRIS is essential, experience of SAP SuccessFactors would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of UK and European Employment Law (Desirable)
  • Effective and timely administration skills, with high attention to detail and ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities may change quickly
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, enabling you to confidently work with all levels of the business, up to CEO level
