Rail Interface Performance Manager – Crewe or Carlisle

The role will ensure that NTS Rail’s interests are protected within the rail industry’s operational framework. Specific responsibilities will include the lead role and representation on Access Rights, Schedule 4 & 8, Freight Strategy Advisory Group, major infrastructure upgrades, Period Reviews, ORR Form F (Freight Track Access Contract), and Freight Control Period reviews. There will be a day to day focus on the management of the investigation, disputing and resolution of aspects of Trust Delay Attribution as part of Schedule 8 (Performance), and contractual performance arrangements with Network Rail.

  • Work with stakeholders to incorporate the changes into normal working practices.
  • Lead a small team delivering a diverse range of performance initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of the NTS RAIL delay attribution team and associated activities.

Your Skills & knowledge;

  • Significant exposure to TDA, TRUST, TOPS and CCF systems with extensive practical application.
  • A full understanding of DAG principles, application, and interpretation.
  • Extensive understanding of train planning and railway operations.
