About the role
The role is part time (20 hours), permanent
Middlesbrough College are seeking to recruit a talented and creative Graphic Design Assistant to support the development of engaging digital and printed brand materials for the Middlesbrough College Group. You will have 1 - 2 years’ experience in a professional business environment and be highly competent in the use of Apple Mac OS, Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign and Photoshop.
You will work as a team of 3 Graphic Designers and will work closely with the wider inhouse Marketing Team.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent IT Skills: Apple Mac OS, Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator A high level of IT competence.
High standard of creativity and innovation with experience of commercial work or freelance work completed to commercial briefs
Minimum of 2 years current experience in designing for both print and digital/online mediums
Experience of working in a similar purchasing role.
Experience of working in a busy office environment.
Experience of supervising staff.
Degree in Graphic Design or Art and Design
Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
